India is still an energy deficit country and it will need 1,370 GWs of energy by the middle of the present century. The global energy situation has also reached a crisis point both in terms of sustainability and climate change due to emission of green house gases and the depletion of fossil fuels. Under these circumstances the country must intensify its efforts to find and build technologies for harnessing its natural resources in energy production. And most importantly there is an urgent need to develop clean energy sources. .

To meet this need, Energytech 2009, a unique multi-technology event and multi-track conference with presentations and discussion sessions, offers the energy industry the opportunity to hear about and discuss prospects for established and novel technologies.

As trade fairs and technology exhibitions are accelerating exports by offering an effective interface between buyers and seller, the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the nodal agency of the Government of India for promoting the country's external trade, will present the first ever EnergyTech'08 in collaboration with Energy and Resources Institute(TERI) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency. The event will be covering the most important trends and issues impacting the industry.

Bringing the wind, solar, biomass and alternative fuels together for four days (from 11th to 14th December, 2009) of information exchange and fast-track networking, the exhibition is expected to attract the biggest names in renewable energy segment to discuss technical, strategic, regulatory, structural and economic issues.

EnergyTech 2009 will showcase an astounding range of a wide variety of energy products and related items including existing, latest and innovative technological developments in solar, wind, hydroelectricity and bio-fuels segments. The trade show will attract large number of overseas participation because it will render an opportunity to the visitors to purchase, place orders and trade - all at the same time. From this year onwards EnergyTech will be an annual affair of the ITPO. Thus it will substantially contribute to India's efforts to boast of its energy trade.

Register fast and book a place to exhibit your products and have a global edge over your competitors.
