India is still an energy deficit country and it will need 1,370 GWs of energy by the middle of the present century. The global energy situation has also reached a crisis point both in terms of sustainability and climate change due to emission of green house gases and the depletion of fossil fuels. Under these circumstances the country must intensify its efforts to find and build technologies for harnessing its natural resources in energy production. And most importantly there is an urgent need to develop clean energy sources. .

EnergyTech 2009 will showcase an astounding range of a wide variety of energy products and related items including existing, latest and innovative technological developments in solar, wind, hydroelectricity and bio-fuels segments.
